The OMS-4E features solid construction and a smooth, reliable transport mechanism. Sonically, it offers a balanced and detailed presentation with a natural tonal character that pairs beautifully with both vintage and modern amplifiers. It’s a reminder of how well-made many early high-end CD players were. The unit reads discs quickly and plays without issue. All functions operate as intended, and the controls respond cleanly and accurately.
